Niklas Wiktor wins at Stadium Course

In November 2021 we were able to introduce the PGE Spanish Junior Championship for the first time on the Global Junior Golf calendar. We decided we wanted to be back soon at the Stadium Course of PGA Catalunya, so in 2022 it was already scheduled for February.

Although the field was limited to a smaller field than we’re used to, the international character was there with ten nationalities. Local hero Ivan Ponsdomenech claimed a nice third place. Swiss player, but also a PGA Catalunya member, Patrick Foley came in second and Niclas Wiktor, also from Switzerland, claimed his victory in this event.

This tournament was a mixed gender event, so no special girls division. Spanish player Valeria Biarge had the best score of the field. She finished 8th in the final ranking.
